When I saw HBO was making this into a mini series I decided I wanted to read it before I watched it. And I'm so glad I did. I absolutely loved both the book and the mini series.
Camille is a newspaper journalist, sent back to her home town of Wind Gap, Missouri to write a story on child murders happening there. Camille has a complicated relationship with her mother and despite this, stays with her while she is in Wind Gap. Amongst the stress of the story she is investigating, Camille is brought back to the emotional trauma of her childhood and trying to keep her step sister safe.
I recommend this to everyone. The book had me on my toes and had a twist ending. My favorite!
I read a lot of books. I'll post what books I've read and a little about them. I mostly read Young Adult books. Make sure you keep checking back for new posts.

Anyone there?
I was thinking about coming back to this blog and getting back to reading. I need some book recommendations. I got away from reading when I moved and I have no idea what to read next.
