Zachary has been Miranda's guardian angel from the moment she took her first breath and he loves her. Loves her enough to become worried when he sees the shadow of death following her. Zachary shows himself to save Miranda from dying, but pays the price of becoming a fallen angel and having Miranda being captured anyways. While Zachary has to learn to live on Earth, Miranda is turned into a vampire. Zachary is given another chance to regain his status in Heaven by posing as the personal assistant to the Princess of Darkness, Dracula's heir, Miranda. Between trying to keep his disguise and plan on how to kill the Dracula, Zachary needs to figure out if he can save Miranda's soul because he still loves her, no matter what she has become.
