Jesse is picked to be part of the cast of a new hit reality show about the glamorous lives of the Hamptons, but Jesse's life is far from glamorous. She has a part time job she hates and shes not popular. When she loses her best friend because of the show, she debates quitting, but the $40,000 check they gave her would be void and she needs it for college. Jesse ends up making new friends and losing some and learning things about people she never imagined she would talk to. It turns out that a life of fame isn't as great as she thought it would be.
